Love staying active and/or watching sports? Then you’ll love Hiawatha, Iowa. Name a sport and we offer it in the Corridor. We have semi-pro teams in baseball, hockey, football, and soccer. Youth leagues and YMCA programs are available in every sport imaginable. And you can cheer on nearby college teams, including the University of Iowa Hawkeyes.

Trails

Hikers, runners, and cyclists love our many miles of pristine trails throughout the county. The Cedar Valley Nature Trail, for example, begins in beautiful Hiawatha and provides 51 miles of scenic land north to Waterloo, Iowa.

Dog Parks

Got a pet pooch? Enjoy Hiawatha’s new Dog Park, which is adjacent to the nature trail and features off-leash areas for your four-legged friends.
