You’re invited to Hiawatha’s State of the City sponsored by the Hiawatha Economic Development Corporation (HEDCO) on August 19, from 4:00-6:00 p.m.
This year marks a milestone birthday for our city — and we’re gathering to honor 75 years of progress, partnerships, and promise. This year’s program features:
- Mayor Steve Dodson, sharing exciting updates on infrastructure, housing, business development, and the city’s vision forward.
- Debi Durham, Director of the Iowa Economic Development Authority, delivering the keynote address on economic opportunity in our region.
- Recognition of the 2025 Fay Clark Award Winner, honoring a community member who exemplifies Hiawatha’s pioneering spirit.
